Create a free account on the relevant portal (MSTC, IBAPI, bank website). KYC with PAN + Aadhaar is mandatory.

Find Active Auctions
Browse listings by category. Check auction date, base price, EMD amount, and inspection schedule.

Inspect Before Bidding
For vehicles & property — always physically inspect. Auction items are sold as-is. What you see is what you get.

Pay EMD Deposit
Transfer Earnest Money Deposit (usually 5–10% of base price) to participate. Refunded if you don't win.

Place Your Bid
Online bidding window opens at the scheduled time. Bid in increments shown. You'll see if you're the highest bidder live.

Win & Complete Payment
If you win, pay the remaining amount within 15–30 days. Transfer of ownership/registration follows payment.
