Subject-Matter Validation
Various — based on topic

For specific domains — taxation, FEMA, healthcare schemes, legal aid — we consult practitioners and researchers familiar with those fields. We do not name them publicly without consent, but we cite their input when material to a specific guide.

What they verify

When a guide touches a high-stakes area (capital gains tax, FEMA compliance, property succession), the draft is reviewed by an external practitioner before publication.

Our Editorial Principles

1.Primary sources only

Every fact — fees, eligibility, portal URLs, helpline numbers — is sourced from official .gov.in/.nic.in portals or government notifications. We never cite third-party aggregators as primary sources.

2.Named accountability

Every guide carries a 'Verified by [Name]' attribution and a verification date. If you find a factual error, write to support@nagrikiq.com — corrections are issued within 48 hours and a correction note added to the guide.

3.No financial incentives

We don't take commissions from banks, insurers, agents, or any service provider. Our home loan comparison ranks by published rates and CIBIL-tier transparency, not by partner relationships. Our health insurance guide names providers based on claim settlement ratio, not advertising spend.

4.No agent referrals

We refuse to point readers to private agents, brokers, or 'consultants' for any government service. If a process can be done at a Seva Kendra or .gov.in portal, that's where we send you. Always.

5.Visible correction history

When we change a fact in a guide — fees, rules, deadlines — we update the verified date. Major corrections (changing a fee amount, retracting eligibility advice) get a visible 'Correction' note at the top of the affected guide.

Found a Mistake? Tell Us.

Government rules change. Helpline numbers go out of service. Portal URLs redirect. If you find an error in any NagrikIQ guide, please write to support@nagrikiq.com with the URL and what's wrong. We respond within 48 hours and corrections go live the same week.

Our credibility depends on what we're willing to correct, not what we publish first.
