Common Rejection Reasons & How to Fix

Caste not in state list
Fix: Check if your caste name has alternate spellings in the official list. File a representation with collector if genuinely omitted.
No hereditary proof
Fix: Get father/grandfather's caste certificate, old school records, or community elder affidavit.
OBC Creamy Layer rejection
Fix: Income must be below ₹8 lakh/year for OBC. Get fresh income certificate from tehsildar.
Documents not matching
Fix: Ensure all documents show same name spelling, address, and date of birth. Correct before re-applying.
Certificate expired
Fix: OBC certificates are valid 3 years, SC/ST are lifetime. Renew OBC at tehsil with original certificate.

⚠️ Important Warning

Obtaining a false caste certificate is a criminal offense under Section 420 IPC and can attract imprisonment. Only apply if you genuinely belong to the caste. All certificates are verified and can be cancelled if found fraudulent.
